“I knew Steven Wright as a patient and customer (at the pharmacy),” said Little, under questioning from Cumberland County Assistant Prosecutor John Reilly, who is representing the state. “He would come in to drop off is prescription and pick it up 15 minutes later, but that was (the extent of it).”
According to Little, reading from pharmacy records obtained by police through a warrant, Bradford had last filled a prescription for Wright on July 26, 2004.
However, under cross examination from Wright’s attorney Louis Shapiro, Little admitted that even if one pharmacist had filled the prescription, another could hand it over to a customer. Reilly later countered, asking if he recalled ever working a day in which both he and Bradford were at the pharmacy. Little stated he could not recall such a day.
Shapiro also asked Little about Wright’s prescription history, dating from April 1999 to August 2005. Between that time, according to Little, Wright had filled prescriptions for a variety of drugs for anxiety and depression including amitriptylin, lorazepam, a pain medication called Zoltram and its generic counterpart tramadol, Xanax and Zoloft.
